Care Home Admission & Fees

Admission

Service User’s interested in coming to Tynefield Court Care Home are invited to visit the home. A full, "needs assessment" will be completed by the management team to ensure that the Service User's needs are met whilst staying at Tynefield Care Home. A contract detailing the level of care and fee will be subsequently arranged and only when all of these are in place can a planned admission take place.

Ages 18 – 65 are registered young physically disabled and over 65’s are registered as elderly. We cater for clients with Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy, different forms of Ataxia, strokes, epilepsy and clients who have had any physical injuries from an accident.

If able, we encourage the potential resident to spend the day at Tynefield Care Home to view the room, meet the staff and enjoy a meal. We also have an open visiting at any point throughout the day.

Financial Arrangements & Fees

We are committed to providing value for money within our comprehensive and caring service: The fees charged are individually assessed as to the Services User’s needs. A Service User can either pay the fees privately or receive benefits arranged by Social Services / government funding etc. Payment is due monthly in advance and usually by standing order or direct debit.

Fees – What Is Included?

Furnished bedroom, including a single bed and mattress, wardrobe, a five draw chest of draws, a bed side cabinet and towels. The following are also inclusive of fees:

  • Fully trained team and support staff in 24 hour attendance
  • Good home cooking
  • Provision for special diets
  • Laundry service
  • Access to multi disciplinary team & G. P. Surgery
  • Full central heating
  • Personal care

Services Incurring Additional Costs

Newspapers, magazines, any additional toiletries, hairdressing, chiropodist services, bus trips, taxis, and the occasional contribution to trips or outings, and any external telephone calls made from each Service Users’ bedroom telephone line.

An invoice will be provided for any additional fees. If Service Users wish to have a telephone in their room then one can be provided.
